Just wanted to post a few quick pictures of the project we are working on today! It is a beautiful deck in South San Diego.

Contractors are a dime a dozen these days and they come and go just as fast. Finding the perfect contractor for your needs may start with a referral from a friend or by the luck of the yellow pages draw. But there really is a formula to finding the best fit.

1. Is the contractor licensed? There is NO more important question to ask than this one. Ask for his license number and name of his/her business then check them out at www.cslb.ca.gov. There you will find out if his/her license is in good standing. If he/she carries workers comp insurance and much more.
2. Did the contractor catch your vision? Communication is the key. You should feel comfortable expressing your needs and wishes. The above web site offers many additional recommendations to hiring the right contractor. Do your homework.
3. Is he/she current with new building and construction trends? New building materials are coming out everyday and a good contractor will be up on all the new products.
